JJ brings bicycle repair to you! I will drive anywhere in the Austin area to repair a bicycle. I have my own portable bike stand and tools. I can do a full tune-up(including adjusting derailleurs, brakes, hubs, headset, cleaning and lubing the drivetrain, minor truing of wheels) and other repairs such as chain replacement, replacing cable housings and cables, etc.. I have been a bicycle mechanic for ten years, previously working at Gregg's Greenlake Cycle and Recycled Cycles in Seattle and South Salem Cycleworks in Salem. My love of bicycles started when I was 6 with my first bike, a black Schwinn Stingray. I later got into mountain biking, worked as a bike messenger in Seattle, then became a bicycle assembler and finally a bicycle mechanic. I've been doing mobile bicycle repair in the Portland area since 2008 and the Austin area since 2013 and have many satisfied customers.
